Certificate Stores

Overview

A certificate store is a special key database file that Digital Certificate Manager (DCM) uses to store digital certificates. Stores becomes necessary when the information security needs to be provided to multiple users in conjunction with the operating system access privileges. With help of a generic framework users can choose to secure application specific data like configurations, which in general do not classify as sensitive information from an operating system point of view.
